Ofirmev (acetaminophen for injection)

Ofirmev (acetaminophen) injection is a non-salicylate antipyretic (anti-fever) and non-opioid analgesic (pain reliever) used to manage pain and to reduce fever.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
  • nausea,
  • upper stomach pain,
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • dark urine,
  • clay-colored stools, and
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
  • chest pain,
  • trouble breathing,
  • severe redness,
The following drugs are related to Ofirmev, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Vicodin (hydrocodone and acetaminophen)
  • Vicoprofen (hydrocodone and ibuprofen)
  • Vicodin ES (hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen)
  • Vicodin HP (hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablets)
  • Reprexain Tablets (hydrocodone bitartrate and ibuprofen)
  • Oxycontin (oxycodone hcl)
  • Roxicodone (oxycodone hydrochloride)
  • Roxicodone 15, 30 mg (oxycodone hydrochloride)
  • Ultracet (tramadol hydrochloride and acetaminophen tablets)
