Acetadote (acetylcysteine) Injection is an amino acid used to prevent or lessen hepatic injury due to acetaminophen overdose. Acetadote is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- rash,
- hives,
- swelling, or low blood pressure (hypotension)
