Acetaminophen Suppositories (acephen)

Acephen (acetaminophen suppository) is a pain reliever/fever reducer used to temporarily reduce fever and to relieve minor aches, pains, and headache.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • skin redness,
  • rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
  • nausea,
  • upper stomach pain,
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • dark urine,
  • clay-colored stools, and
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
The following drugs are related to Acetaminophen Suppositories, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Toradol (ketorolac tromethamine)
