Accuretic (quinapril hcl/hydrochlorothiazide)

Accuretic (quinapril HCl/hydrochlorothiazide) is a combination of two drugs used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Accuretic is not indicated for the initial treatment of hypertension. Accuretic is available as a generic termed Quinaretic.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • headache,
  • dizziness,
  • diarrhea,
  • sleep problems (insomnia),
  • cough,
  • constipation,
  • skin rash,
  • low blood pressure, and
  • upset stomach,
  • runny nose,
  • increased sweating,
  • tired feeling,
  • muscle or back pain,
  • a serious allergic reaction (anaphylaxis),
  • angioedema (similar to hives, but deeper in the skin),
  • liver failure.

  • Atacand (candesartan cilexetil)

  • Cardura (doxazosin mesylate)
  • Coreg (carvedilol)
  • Coreg CR (carvedilol phosphate extended-release)
  • Catapres (clonidine)
  • Catapres-TTS (clonidine)
  • Lopressor (metoprolol tartrate)
