Accrufer (ferric maltol) is an iron replacement product indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency in adults.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• joint pain,
• darkening of the skin,
• abdominal pain,
• fatigue
• persistent diarrhea,
• rectal bleeding,
• chronic fatigue,
• irregular heart rhythm,
• diabetes,
• bloody stools,
• weight loss, and

• Feraheme (ferumoxytol injection)
