Acanya (clindamycin phosphate 1.2% and benzoyl peroxide 2.5%) for topical use is a combination of an antibiotic and an antibacterial and keratolytic agent used to treat acne.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• redness or other irritation.
• itching or tingly feeling,
• skin irritation such as burning or stinging,
• dryness or peeling of treated skin, or
