Calquence (acalabrutinib capsules)
type of Antineoplastic Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors
Calquence (acalabrutinib) is a kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of adult patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) who have received at least one prior therapy.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- fever,
- pale skin,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- cold hands and feet,
- confusion,
- chills,
- tiredness,
- chest pain,
- dizziness,
- fluttering in your chest,
- weakness,
- unusual tiredness,
- pounding heartbeats,
- coughing up blood,
- vomit that looks like coffee grounds,
- unusual bleeding (nose, mouth, vagina, or rectum),
- cough with mucus,
- any bleeding that will not stop,
- decreased vision,
- problems with speech,
- prolonged headache,
- black or blood stools,
- pink or brown urine,
- flu like symptoms,
- changes in mental state,
- weakness on one side of your body, and
- problems walking (gradual start and worsening quickly)
