Abstral (fentanyl sublingual tablets)

Abstral (fentanyl) sublingual is a narcotic analgesic (pain reliever) used to treat severe pain in cancer patients who are already receiving and who are tolerant to opioid therapy for their underlying persistent cancer pain.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- severe drowsiness,
- dizziness,
- diarrhea
- sweating,
- weakness,
- agitation,
- shivering,
- slow heart rate,
- hallucinations,
- twitching,
- unusual thoughts or behavior,
- fast heart rate,
- blue colored lips,
- muscle stiffness,
- loss of coordination, and
- slow breathing with long pauses,
- sighing,
- breathing that stops during sleep,
- worsening tiredness,
- shallowing breathing,
- extreme fear,
